New Michigan Law Affects Gas Station Owners

2023 Change in Michigan Law

Gas stations in Michigan will no longer be able to rely solely on security tape to secure fuel dispensers.  In an effort to prevent credit card skimming, legislators in Michigan have enacted new measures to protect consumers.

Operators will also no longer to use the OEM locks as an alternative to the tape.  Stations have several alternatives should they be cited by the state and our high security locks are certainly a cost effective and timely solution.
